Donelle

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Certified in Behavior and Exercise Therapy
I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Certified Canine Fitness Trainer with a growing focus in canine physical rehabilitation, currently working toward my official certification in that specialty. With a strong foundation in animal health and wellness, I’m passionate about helping dogs live active, pain-free lives through a combination of preventative care, fitness, and rehabilitation practices.

Originally from California, I’ve also lived in Arizona and now call Michigan home. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially paddleboarding with my family. My love for dogs extends beyond the clinic—I have a deep passion for dog training and have had the rewarding experience of training my Belgian Malinois in French Ring Sport, a discipline that challenges both handler and dog in obedience, agility, and protection work.

Whether in the clinic, on the field, or out on the water, my work and hobbies are rooted in the belief that a well-balanced, active life is key to the wellbeing of both dogs and their humans.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2011 with a special interest in anesthesia and analgesia, dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. With a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and a keen focus on patient comfort and safety, I find fulfillment in supporting animals through their most vulnerable moments.

Outside of work, I spend my free time with my kids and our energetic Belgian Malinois puppy, embracing the chaos and joy they bring. I love being outdoors—whether it’s hiking, kayaking, exploring nature, or just enjoying the fresh air. When I’m not moving, you’ll often find me reading, always eager to learn something new or unwind with a good story.

Brynn

Veterinary Assistant

Brynn is a dedicated veterinary assistant with a passion for animal care and welfare. A graduate of Central Michigan University, Brynn’s journey in the veterinary field began with her involvement in 4-H and her participation on the equestrian team, where she developed a deep appreciation for animals and their needs.
With a strong foundation in hands-on experience, Brynn is a motivated individual committed to providing exceptional medical care to animals. She strives to ensure the well-being of every animal she encounters, leveraging her skills and knowledge to support veterinarians and assist in delivering top-notch care.
Brynn enjoys spending her free time with her two dogs Tucker and Birdie, riding her horses, and exploring new outdoor adventures that connect her with nature and animals.
As she continues to grow in her career, Brynn aims to expand her expertise in veterinary medicine and contribute positively to the lives of animals and their owners.

Finance Manager & Head Receptionist

Amanda has been a dedicated member of the River Rock team since May 2016, where she combines her love for animals with a strong commitment to client care. As both Finance Manager and Head Receptionist, Amanda oversees the reception staff and plays a key role in ensuring every client and pet receives exceptional service and support.

With her warm presence at the front desk and keen attention to operational detail, Amanda brings both professionalism and compassion to her work. Her leadership helps create a welcoming, efficient environment for clients and team members alike.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys baking a wide variety of treats, spending time outdoors, camping, and going on long walks with her dog.

Emily

Human Resource Manager & Receptionist

With a friendly smile and a passion for helping both people and pets, Emily has been a part of River Rock Animal Hospital since May 2018. In her dual role as Human Resources Manager and receptionist, she brings warmth, organization, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything she does. Whether she’s supporting her colleagues behind the scenes or welcoming clients at the front desk, Emily is always ready to lend a helping hand and find solutions.

At home, she enjoys a full and happy household with her big sweet dog, Griffin, and three cats. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her out adventuring with her husband, cooking, baking, diving into a good book, or enjoying time with loved ones.

Elana

Receptionist

Originally from out of state, I’ve found a second home in the veterinary world. As a receptionist, I’m the friendly face that welcomes pets and their people, helping to make every visit smooth and stress-free. My love for animals drives everything I do, and I’m currently working toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician to deepen my role in animal care.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with a good book in hand or spending quality time with friends and family. I’m committed to learning and growing in the field, and I truly enjoy being part of a team that shares the same compassion for animals.

With over 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine, I am passionate about providing compassionate care for pets and the people who love them. My background includes general practice, exotic animal medicine, and emergency veterinary care. I enjoy building trusting relationships with clients, helping them feel informed and supported while ensuring their pets receive the highest standard of care. I look forward to helping you and your pets live happy, healthy lives.

At home, you may find me sitting outside with a good book. I have a sweet little Basset hound named Peach. We love to go on little adventures!
